Hello my name is Dovid Mark. It can also be pronounced Daveed Mark, David Mark, or probably most correctly Daweed Mark. Yet for my website I have decided to use the Eastern European Jewish dialect as a way of honoring my past. To give a little bit of a background: I am a returnee to my heritage otherwise known as a Baale Teshuvah. This makes me a little different than many “observant Jews” for the main reason that I have worked on not seeing the world the way it just appears and the truth is I always felt a bit connected to something more even when I was young.
I live in Israel in the community of Pene Hever or sometimes called Maale Hever. We are deep within our ancient homeland where King David built the beginnings of his Kingdom. My line of work is SEO and my main source of income is the work I do at Five Blocks located North in Alon Shvut. I hope this blog not only inspires its readers to peer into the world in a different manner, but engage them into becoming better and deeper people.
